    • In the first step, you need to wash and soak the Basmati rice for 30 minutes, then drain. 
    • Take a large pot, heat ghee and oil, and add the whole spices (bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon)
    • Add sliced onions and saute until they turn golden brown. 
    • Then add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies and saute for a couple of minutes. 
    • Now add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white. 
    • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. 
    • Add yogurt, fresh mint, and coriander leaves. Mix well. 
    • Add drained rice and mix gently. 
    • Make sure to add enough water and salt. Then cover it and let it cook until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through. 
    • Garnish with fried onions and serve hot.
